How quickly will learners be able to communicate with 1200+ words?
It depends on the age of the learners and how many English classes students get per week, but based on our classroom testing, we believe that:
For learners aged 6 & older, a school offering five 40-minutes English classes each week, it is safe to expect a high level of communication competence with at least 1200 words 75% of learners after 3 years and 99% of learners after 4 years.
For students aged 9 & older with the same number of classes a week, this progress can be achieved in 2-3 years depending on the learner.
A full-time program with 20-30 hours of class each week, these results would be achievable for 90% of learners in 9 to 12 months.
For adult learners, especially those who have already studied a lot of English in school, but never gained confidence and ability in speaking, the speed of learning may be even faster.
Why is having a powerful foundational English program so important?

For a primary school, this ensures that nearly every student will be ready for CEFR A2-level content by the 4th or 5th grade, setting them on a path towards B2-level communication skills by the end of grade 8 and C1 or C2-level fluency by the end of grade 12.
